Prize-Winning Cancer Research Presented at ENJIO 2024

Alexandra Teixeira was honoured to have been invited to present her work at the 7º Encontro Nacional de Jovens Investigadores em Oncologia (ENJIO), held on September 24th, 2025, in Porto, and organised by the Liga Portuguesa Contra o Cancro (Região do Norte).

ENJIO is a national scientific meeting that brings together young researchers in oncology from different institutions across Portugal, providing a valuable platform to exchange knowledge, foster collaboration, and discuss innovative approaches in cancer research.

This invitation was particularly meaningful, as the project she presented had been awarded the Prémio Liga Inovação 2024 da Liga Portuguesa Contra o Cancro, in collaboration with BioPortugal, last year.

A special thank you to the organising committee, mentors, project partners/colleagues (Margarida Esteves, Francisca Oliveira, Miguel Xavier, Sara Abalde)  for their continuous support and inspiration throughout this research journey, as well as to the 3DSecret project, which has been instrumental in advancing this work.
