3DSecret Project Showcased at EACR 2025 Congress in Lisbon

In June 2025, researchers from the 3DSecret Project and CINBIO – Universidade de Vigo participated in the prestigious European Association for Cancer Research (EACR) Congress, held in Lisbon, Portugal. The team presented a scientific poster titled “Simultaneous Genomic and Transcriptomic Profiling of Single-Cell-Derived Breast Cancer Spheroids”, which drew significant attention from attendees across the international cancer research community.

The work focuses on the development of a robust and integrated protocol to analyze both the genomic and transcriptomic landscapes of breast cancer spheroids derived from single cells. This innovative approach enhances the understanding of tumour heterogeneity and opens new avenues for personalised cancer research at the single-cell level.

Participation in the EACR Congress provided a valuable platform for scientific exchange and networking, while significantly raising the visibility of the 3DSecret Project within the global oncology and biomedical research arenas.

The team’s contribution highlights CINBIO’s commitment to advancing cutting-edge cancer research and fostering collaboration across borders.
