New Review Article Published in Advanced Science

A new review article authored by researchers at the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory (INL) has been published in Advanced Science. The paper provides a comprehensive overview of how advanced technologies are reshaping our understanding of tumour heterogeneity and metastasis.

The review covers a wide range of approaches, from liquid biopsies and single-cell sorting to tumour-on-a-chip systems and droplet microfluidics, highlighting how these tools are contributing to cancer research and precision medicine.

The article is the result of collaborative work by Adriana Carneiro, Marta Aranda Palomer, Margarida Esteves, Carolina Rodrigues, José Fernandes, Francisca Oliveira, Alexandra Teixeira, Carlos Honrado, Lorena Diéguez, and Sara Abalde-Cela, all from INL.

This publication not only consolidates the latest scientific advances in the field but also reflects the depth of research, analysis, and visual synthesis contributed by the team. The review is expected to serve as a valuable reference for researchers working on cancer evolution, tumour microenvironments, and single-cell technologies
